Standard Warranty

Hashtechguy provides a comprehensive standard warranty of up to 12 months on all products, ensuring customer confidence and peace of mind while shopping on our website.

• 12-month warranty for Mobile phones, Cameras, Tablets, Lenses, Lens Filters, Audio Equipment, Smart Watches, Memory Cards, Computer Accessories, and External Storage.

• 6-month warranty for Action Cameras and Drones.

 

Extended Warranty

Extend your coverage by an additional 12 months with the same comprehensive benefits as our standard warranty. For more details, please refer to our Extended Warranty policy.

 

Terms and conditions

The warranty

Upon receipt of your payment, we will provide cover for your purchase(s) as outlined in this warranty. The Hashtechguy standard warranty ensures that the product will operate in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications for the specified period from the date of invoice.

For all products, we offer our own company warranty, ensuring restoration to the manufacturer's operational standards.

 

To make a claim

Please complete our Warranty Form and submit it to us via email. It is recommended to include photos and/or videos to assist us in documenting the issue.

We will make every effort to resolve the matter promptly. If our repair center determines that a repair is not feasible, we will notify you accordingly and initiate contact.

 

To Make a Warranty Return:

• Packing: Ensure the product is packed in its original condition without taping the retail box.

• Documentation: Print and attach the warranty form inside or outside the box for identification purposes.

• Notification: Notify us via email with proof of shipment and the completed warranty form.

• Receipt Acknowledgment: Upon receiving your returned item, we will acknowledge receipt and provide a confirmation.

• Handling: While your product is in our possession, we will handle it with care. However, Hashtechguy cannot accept liability or compensate for the loss of any accessories not necessary for the repair.

• Replacement: If repair costs are prohibitive or parts are unavailable, we may opt to replace your product with a similar item of equal or greater value, determined at the time of replacement.

• Shipping Costs: You are responsible for shipping costs to us. Return shipping costs are also your responsibility, along with inspection, diagnosis, and non-warranty repair costs.

• Handling Fee: A 20% handling fee may apply if the returned item is not in its original condition.

• Non-transferability: This warranty is non-transferable to third parties.

• Limitation: Hashtechguy's sole obligation under this warranty is to provide the services described above.

 

Specific exclusions

Consumable products such as batteries and films are not covered by the warranty.

Non-electronic items or products that do not consume electricity (e.g., Bags, Lens Hoods, etc.) are also not covered.

For all mobile phones, if the original package does not include a charger suitable for your country, a high-quality converter will be provided.

Carrier-related issues (e.g., SIM card, availability, coverage, service, range, etc.) for mobile phones and tablets are not covered by Hashtechguy.

Issues caused by firmware or software modifications, rooting, or jailbreaking of phones or tablets are not covered under Hashtechguy's warranty policy.

 

What is NOT covered

Wear and tear

Damage caused by impact, shock, falls, sand, dust, dirt, dampness, leaking batteries, fire, theft, vandalism, acts of war or terrorism, corrosion, water contamination, frost, flooding, winds, earthquakes, lightning, or adverse weather conditions

Any accidental or malicious damage

Damage due to exposure to moisture, dampness, or extreme thermal environments

Improper usage, storage, or handling of the product

Damage due to operating with incorrect or irregular voltage supply

Breach of the terms and conditions of this warranty or the contract terms

Failure to follow our written instructions or those of the manufacturer

Damage or defect due to willful neglect or negligence by anyone other than us

Loss of quality, degradation of performance, or damage resulting from the use of non-manufacturer-recommended spare parts or consumables

Modification to the product and/or software by unauthorized personnel

Removal or illegibility of the product serial number

Connection of unauthorized fittings, accessories, equipment, or software to the product

External causes beyond our control, including accidents, fire disasters, or burglaries

Repair or cleaning by unauthorized personnel

Malfunctions or requirements specific to any hardware or software not originally included in the contract

Correction of errors in non-Hashtechguy or original manufacturer proprietary software

Loss or damage of data

Attaching the product to an unapproved network or making changes to your operating or network system

Failure to install software error corrections issued by the manufacturer

Use for purposes not intended

Damage to the display screen (LCD) due to improper usage

Non-manufacturer defects on lenses

Liquid damage

Damage due to improper packing during shipment to the service center or service agent

 

Special Note for Action Cameras, Casings, Bags, and Mobile Phones

 

Warranty Voidance: Damage resulting from impacts, exceeding recommended depths, etc., will void the warranty.

Warranty Coverage: Please note that our warranty covers only the purchased item itself.

Liability Limitation: Hashtechguy cannot be held responsible for any defects or damages occurring to any other item(s) used alongside this product.

Special Note for Remote Control Toys

The warranty excludes coverage for defects or damage resulting from the following:

• Crash or burning due to non-manufacturing factors.
• Operation in electromagnetic interference environments (e.g., mining areas, radio transmitting towers, high-voltage wires, etc.).
• Operation in environments known to interfere with wireless devices (e.g., transmitters, video links, Wi-Fi signals, etc.).
• Operation with a weight exceeding the safe take-off weight.
• Operation with a low charged or defective battery.
• Liability Limitation: Hashtechguy is not liable for defects or damage to any other item(s) used in conjunction with this product.
